The Absolutely Stunning Morningside Inn in Frederick, Maryland

There are some weddings that simply feel joyful from the very beginning, and Melanie and KP’s wedding at the beautiful Morningside Inn was one of those days.

From the quiet moments of getting ready to the emotional ceremony under the gazebo and the laughter throughout the reception, it was a celebration filled with love, family, and unforgettable memories. Tracy and I were honored to capture every moment.

Getting Ready at Morningside Inn


The day began with Melanie surrounded by her bridesmaids as she prepared for one of the biggest moments of her life. One of my favorite parts of the morning was watching the small, meaningful moments unfold...the careful fastening of her dress, the adjustment of her veil, and the smiles shared amongst family & friends who have been part of her journey.

A Stunning Bridal Portrait


Melanie looked absolutely radiant in her gown, holding a vibrant autumn bouquet that perfectly complemented the warm tones of the day.

One of my favorite portraits from the day captured her just before the ceremony... calm, confident, and glowing with excitement.


These quiet portraits often become some of the most cherished images from a wedding day.

The Bridal Party


Melanie and her bridesmaids created such a beautiful visual with their elegant dark green dresses paired with colorful autumn bouquets. The setting at Morningside Inn provided the perfect backdrop for these portraits, especially with the surrounding trees beginning to show their fall colors.


The entire bridal party brought such incredible energy and joy to the day.

The Ceremony at the Gazebo


One of the things couples love most about weddings at Morningside Inn is the charming outdoor gazebo, which creates a romantic and intimate ceremony space.

As the sun began to set, guests gathered while Melanie walked down the aisle with her father. The emotion in that moment was unforgettable.

A Beautiful Candle Lighting Ceremony


During the ceremony, Melanie and KP shared a candle lighting moment that symbolized the joining of their lives together. It was a touching part of the ceremony that truly captured the meaning of the day.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with heartfelt conversations, laughter, and portraits with loved ones.

One of the things Tracy and I love most about wedding photography is capturing the people who mean the most to the couple — parents, grandparents, and friends who have supported them along the way.
