In this class I will share everything you want to learn about starting your own business and being successful.
How to create your own business plan for success
How to know your skill level and begin setting your pricing
How to create a stunning online portfolio that commands attention
How to create your business website
How to market yourself and your photography
Social media and how to get the most out of Instagram, Facebook, etc.
How to create your own look in Photoshop and Lightroom and stand out to clients
How to register your business and keep track of expenses
What to expect when starting your business and tips will be offered on how to grow your business, your vision, and your portfolio.
As with all of my classes, we will also cover specifics on what YOU want to learn in the class! This is another benefit of the small class size.
A pizza lunch will be provided. This class will be interactive and fun, and a great learning experience!
There are two dates for this class, Sunday June 9, 2024 and also Sunday, July 21, 2024. We first announced this to email subscribers only and the first class sold out on the same day as the announcement.
Please note that this training is limited to four (4) participants only and will be held in my Mount Airy, MD studio location. The reason for the small class size is so that individual attention can be given to you in a setting that is already setup as a photography business. Registration will close after the 4th participant so do not hesitate as this class will almost assuredly sell out.

Portrait Photography Workshop on Saturday, May 4th!
We are super excited to announce an amazing new photography workshop class you will not want to miss! Come join us in the heart of the beautiful spring season, along with our model, Kelly Stouffer, for a portrait photography workshop at Baker Park in Frederick, MD! You definitely will not want to miss this one!
Workshop will be on Saturday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Only $109 to attend.
This hands on training class is for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner and your want to learn portrait photography, or you are already a skilled photographer and you want some images of a beautiful model for your portfolio, all are welcome.
In this workshop, we will dive into both natural light photography and also flash photography with a softbox outdoors. We will learn posing techniques, how to manipulate light to give a flattering effect, how to ensure that your photos are razor sharp, we will learn the best lenses to use and we will even learn how to shoot in high speed sync flash for even more magical results. I will share tips and tricks to capture interesting compositions, learn about framing your shot and capturing gorgeous portraits
Our beautiful model Kelly is a a very experienced model and you will get stunning results! Don't miss the chance to take gorgeous photographs of her in a beautiful setting, outdoors in the heart of spring! You will have a blast and capture some incredible shots!

Washington DC Monuments by Night Workshop
We are excited to announce an amazing photography workshop class you will not want to miss! Come join us for our Washington DC Monuments photography workshop!
Workshop will be on Saturday, May 11, 2023 from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Only $99 to attend.
Here is your opportunity to learn how to photograph and capture breathtaking nighttime images of our nation's capital, from sunset to dusk, of the exciting monuments and memorials in Washington DC! Join Tracy and me for this very unique and fun nighttime photography class.
In this workshop, You will learn how to capture long exposure images. You will learn tips and tricks to capture interesting compositions and learn about framing your shot and getting postcard looking photos that will wow your family and friends.
We’ll be capturing incredibly beautiful images in the heart of spring, of the tidal basin and the Jefferson Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial.
In order to get the best results for this workshop, I recommend a DSLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with lenses in the range from 14mm-100mm or greater. A sturdy tripod is also recommended. I do have one tripod I can loan to one student during the class if you do not have one. Just email me to let me know prior to registering.
Don't miss the chance to take breathtaking night photographs of Washington's most beautiful monuments, brilliantly lit up on a spring night! You will have a blast and capture some incredible shots!
I would also recommend taking the Photography Basics class we have on our website first. I will be giving tips and training during the workshop, but having a familiarity with camera settings and understanding ISO, aperture and shutter speed will enhance your experience.
