Join us for this brand new photography class! Explore the stunning flower beds and beautiful garden spaces at Brookside Gardens with Tracy and me. In this workshop, we'll delve into a diverse array of plants and landscaping techniques.
During the class, I'll provide personalized guidance to address your questions and offer suggestions to enhance your creativity in photography. Additionally, I'll share valuable photo tips and demonstrate various shooting techniques.
Topics covered include:
- Highlighting details to showcase textures and patterns
- Utilizing depth of field for artistic effects
- Adjusting light using diffusers and reflectors
- Isolating elements within a landscape
- Discovering innovative perspectives for small scenes
As we navigate through the gardens, we'll concentrate on capturing small details to compose exquisite and imaginative images. You'll gain techniques applicable to any natural setting.
Recommended Equipment: A DSLR or mirrorless camera with lenses ranging from 18mm to 200mm. No tripods necessary.

I am very excited to announce that we are taking registration for a brand new photography training class you will not want to miss, "How to Start Your Own Photography Business".
Please note that this training is limited to four (4) participants only and will be held in my Mount Airy, MD studio location. The reason for the small class size is so that individual attention can be given to you in a setting that is already setup as a photography business.
